My family history is very much South Devon based with a little bit in West Cornwall.
Through the efforts of myself, my Mum and my sister Christine, we have traced our family back (mainly on the distaff side) to the 17th Century in East Devon. The name Dolley comes from Normandy and is a derivation of D'Ouilly (lit. from the village of Ouilly). Tozer is a Westcountry name and comes from those who "teased" the cloth.
Most people will be using this webiste for devon family history and family trees for the following families.
- Dolley, Tozer, Crispin, Scoble
- Higman, Farleigh / Farley, Tucker & Harding
- Hawke, Wills, Elliott, Brown, Sandford, Evans & Vinnicombe

- Kelly, Windeat, Croker, Pinhay, Efford, Veysey, Newton, Skinner & Tuck
